Get to Know VEO – History and Facebook

This site is dedicated to helping job seekers, employers, and recruiters find the best virtual or telecommuting match for remote work situations. Here at VEO, we understand the importance of quickly matching the skills and profiles of job candidates and hiring agencies. We are neither a recruiting nor hiring agency. We are here to help applicants and hirers connect with each other. We are technically the go-between when it comes to hiring companies and job hunters seeking 100% safe and scam-free remote work. VEO strives to be the premier and exclusive virtual connector in the world.

Our Mission

VEO was founded to provide safe and reliable remote employment throughout the world. Our focus is to achieve a successful partnership between job seekers and employers of which both can be proud.

VEO plans to revolutionize the telecommuting experience and eliminate the negative stigmas associated with working from home. We pride ourselves on employment opportunities that will continue to connect and grow our professional communities around the globe.

Our Vision

We will radically shift employment toward the virtual world by empowering people to easily search, confidently apply, and successfully hire the most relevant virtual talent around the globe.

In the Beginning

VEO – Virtual Employment Opportunities began as an idea in 2012 by Founder Kye Malone who, out of necessity as a military wife, was faced with the challenge of finding work from home while supporting her husband through deployments to Iraq. After speaking with other military wives, disabled veterans, and stay-at-home moms, she found that locating legitimate work from home opportunities was rare, time consuming, and risky.

In 2012, while volunteering to help the unemployed and underemployed, Kye began to see the frustrations of many who encountered scam after scam. She then made it her mission to become the mediator of connecting legitimate work from home opportunities to all who may be interested.

VEO now boasts thousands of members on the VEO Facebook page where job listings and discussions occur daily. Click here to join the group and connect with others who have the same desire to work from home.

Our Terrific Team

Kye, Michelle, and Mike met on April 21, 2014, at iWork, a local career networking group. Kye, the guest speaker, offered an inspiring presentation on working remotely, and virtually (pun intended) every participant was awestruck. Various emails between the three of us revealed Kye’s extensive knowledge of the intricacies of finding legitimate work from home jobs, Michelle’s creation of a large-scale spreadsheet to track job search details, and Mike’s IT background in web development. In August of 2014, we agreed to band together as a team to help others locate virtual positions. We soon knew our purpose: to partner in building a website featuring virtual remote employment for job seekers, recruiters, and businesses. We’ve been on the path to a blockbuster success ever since!

Each executive member delivers a unique skill set. Read about each of us as we toot our own horns in the “A Little About Our Team” and “Key Contributors” sections below and in the “Meet the Team” segment on our front page.
